Financial gifts

Your gift helps Well Crafted NC collect and promote the history, business, and culture of breweries and brewing in North Carolina. Oral history interviews, digital content, and historical research documenting the NC beer and brewing community tell the story of brewing in North Carolina and provide researchers with vital tools to learn more about the history of this important industry.

We can begin preserving the history of a brewery for less than $200, and 100% of your donation will go to support the growth of Well Crafted NC.

Donating materials

We are actively seeking historical materials related to the history of beer and brewing in North Carolina, from the saloons of the 1800s to craft breweries of today. These can be materials that document the past, but also materials that help us tell the story of the current North Carolina brewing industry. Examples of the types of materials we are looking for include:

We collect materials in a digital format or a non-digital format. We can also scan materials and return the original items to you, if you wish. While today's world of digital records can be ephemeral, at UNC Greensboro University Libraries, we have the ability to preserve these types of materials for the long term. With your help, we can ensure that the history of this important industry is around for many years to come.

If you have questions about donating materials, please contact Erin Lawrimore, erlawrim@uncg.edu.
